He then completed his Masters of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Waterloo in 1998. Dr. Mike graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2002 with the four year award for top technical proficiency. Since that time he has continued to further his knowledge at numerous conferences and seminars and received a fellowship in Pediatrics and Pregnancy from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Following his dream, Dr. Mike returned to his home town in 2002 to spearhead the Stratford Chiropractic & Wellness Centre, which has now grown to be Stratford’s largest multidisciplinary health centre. Dr. Mike loves helping individuals and families realize the amazing potential for health they all have inside, and working with them to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.
Personally, Dr. Mike has a keen interest in sports, especially hockey, and is a Stratford Cullitons alumnus. He is also an avid pilot and enjoys the outdoors with his wife, Dr. Tanya, and their two beautiful children, Maya and Owen.
Dr. Tanya
Dr. Tanya Chambers graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University in 1997. She then worked as a Kinesiologist and Chiropractic Assistant for 2 years before entering chiropractic college. She graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2003. She has also completed a fellowship in Pediatrics and Pregnancy from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Tanya continues to advance her clinical skills and education through various ongoing seminars.
She joined Dr. Mike in practice in Stratford in 2003. Dr. Tanya’s vision is to see all families achieve greater health through chiropractic care, from birth onwards, and she strives to educate families about the importance of lifetime care. Dr. Tanya has a keen interest in the care of children and expectant moms. The amazing births of her children at home have inspired her to develop a love for sharing and teaching prenatal and childbirth education. She teaches a prenatal course called ‘Soul to Soul’, and is always looking to educate new moms and children about natural health and nutrition.
Dr. Tanya and her husband Dr. Mike have two beautiful children, Maya and Owen, and as a family they love spending time together in the outdoors and simply enjoying life.
Dr. Pip
Dr. Pip Penrose graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from University of Western Ontario in 2001. She was inspired by her own chiropractor as a teenager and after being a long-time patient, decided to pursue chiropractic as a career. Dr. Pip graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2005. She spent her first year in practice in Barrie and joined her good friends Drs. Mike and Tanya at the Stratford Chiropractic & Wellness Centre in 2006.
Since graduation, Dr. Pip has accomplished many goals, both professional and personal. She has completed her fellowship in Pediatrics and Pregnancy from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. With her experience as a dancer, she has fulfilled a long-time goal of working with dancers by creating a series of workshops, focusing on all aspects of a dancer’s health. She has also recently become an examiner for the chiropractic licensing exams. She has raced several half marathons, completed a full marathon, coached a women’s running group, and finally returned to ballet classes. Dr. Pip’s vision in practice is to see more people of all ages be inspired to live their lives with greater awe of the human body, and have optimal health with lifelong chiropractic care!

Angie Staples
A Stratford girl from the very beginning, Angie finished high school feeling uninspired and unsure about what she wanted to focus on in her post-secondary studies. Although she did initially go to Fanshawe College, she decided to work instead, bartending and waitressing in various locations in downtown Stratford.
This experience gave Angie the time to think about what she really wanted to do. Thriving in the service-oriented environment, Angie developed top-notch personal skills and a winning smile that she now shares with everyone she meets.
Eventually, Angie came to a conclusion about her career path and, switching gears, enrolled in the Medical Administration program at Westervelt College where she graduated in 2007. Since July 2008, Angie has been part of the Stratford Chiropractic & Wellness Centre team, allowing her to flourish and become her best self yet and sharing her joy with the SC&WC team and patients alike.
Every day presents new information and opportunities for Angie and she looks forward to further developing her skills as a Chiropractic Health Assistant.
Angie and her partner Kurt share a home in Stratford with their black lab, Biggz.
